The yokohama geolander x-mt was a great tire on and especially off road. The massive tread spacing was surprisingly quiet at speed but you could feel it at very low speeds like parking lots. The are available in a 37x12.50 which we ran or a 37x13.50 if you prefer the wider look.

We recently switched to the patagonia's in a 38x13.50. Only a short trip at the local ohv park so I'll reserve judgement on their performance for now but I will say they are much larger than expected. We gained a full 1" of ground clearance front and rear from the swap which means mounted they are a full 2" taller than the yokohama's albeit they had almost 40k miles on them.

Wow, pretty amazing that you got 40k out of such an aggressive tread, impressive!

5 tire rotations. 3 out of 5 were probably good for another 10k+ but we decided to go up in size. Kept the best 1 as the spare and I'll stick with 4 tire rotations on the pats.

Any update on how you like your Patagonias? Would love your review after having it for 2+ years.

Am upgrading to larger tires from the standard 33 on the Gladiator FarOut.

Trying to decide on which 37 tire to go with. Or just bite the bullet and go with 39s.

After all, I’ll be doing a re-gear, truss, gussets, etc. might as well pay one and cry once. 😂

Just a important side note. A couple years ago cooper was bought out by another tire company. I was running SST Pro 315 tires and after almost 50k wear decided to get new ones. I found out from Discount Tire that the 40 inch and 37 inch Cooper sst was being discontinued. I was lucky enough to get the 37x12.50r17. The Coopers are exactly what I wanted. So as far as I know if you want the Coopers they may not be available soon.

I loved my mickey thompson baja legend exp, but was unable to find any 37 or 38" that were 13.5" wide.
So I went with Nitto trail grapplers.
So far, they provide very good grip offroad, but noticed that the lugs tear easily.
They are quieter than other mud terrain tires I've had.
