So it says on the packaging you can go a year 'guaranteed protection for up to 25K miles' between changes. I've watched a few oil testing videos on YT and the stuff definitely performs well. But is anyone really going a year between changes? I mean that'd be pretty nice. I typically change at 7K miles, and have been using Royal Purple until now. I could see doubling the mileage to 14K maybe... IDK. 14K sounds reasonable considering they guarantee up to 25K.

They can guarantee the oil will last. Doesn’t mean there’s not 25k worth of contaminants in it.

Oil isn’t changed because it’s worn out, it’s changed because it gets dirty.

Yeah, your choice ofcourse, but I only used Amsoil in my motorcycle, never in a four wheeler. But Royal Purple has been good for me and it's going to happen at seven thousand miles. Keep the Jeep wave going.

With the turbo and DI, I like to do mine every 5,000 miles. Easy to remember and I do the tire rotation then as well. Been using Pennzoil Platinum with good results.

I’ve used Amsoil since day one in the engine and differentials. I change every 5000 miles by habit. It’s not really necessary to do earlier, however if you do that’s your choice. I have 13,500 miles and have changed oil twice and changed differentials twice. As stated above it’s cheap insurance. With the cost of food today you can skip a few cheeseburgers and pay for your Amsoil.
