I don't have a secret. I usually drive 5 mph over the speed limit. The attached screenshots are from the fillup app I use to track the MPG. I put a 2" lift and 35x12.5x17 tires on it last August. Still getting around 20 mpg.

You might point out that this is not at sea level! I think these are great numbers!

I average around 18 or 18.5 in PA. I chalk it up to the terrain and my lead foot. It sucks, and i knew that going into it. I am so happy with the 2.0 for acceleration, very peppy, gas prices suck, it equals out in smiles.

Iā€™ve been very happy with the mpgā€™s on mine-take it easy on acceleration and cruise at highway speeds Iā€™m in upper 20ā€™s, driving normally it falls to mid 20ā€™s-still beats heck out of my TJā€™s

This is my 5th Jeep(first Wrangler). I certainly didnā€™t buy it for the fuel economy ha but I was hoping the 2.0 would fare better than a 3.6 no matter how I drove it.
Obviously there is an issue here ... there a certain minimum that one expects and as some of posters claim that the vehicle is a brick is useless ...if ur getting that kind of a milage from 2.0 theres clearly an issue .. also , take note that fuel consumption readout is usually wrong and should be taken with a grain... so there is no reason why u shouldn't get better economy then the 3.6 unless ur under constant boost. Ur numbers are pretty disheartening considering I get 27 highway with my 3.6 and yes that is under 65 MPH

Hovers around 13-14 with the mopar lift and rhino rack pioneer platform. Pretty heavy foot and generally 80+ on the highway. About what I would expect from it at this point.
