Excuse my ignorance but why do you need these? Are you converting to LED?

Presently there aren't many 9" LED aftermarket headlights for sale, however, 7" LED models are plentiful. These adapters simply allow you to use 7" lights in a 9" application.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Thanks for the detailed pics and info! I also ordered from the Amazon Sup-light vendor, hopefully mine will be complete w/ the rubber spacers. Looks like a pretty good install, and not having those screws showing makes for a clean install, looks better than any of the other 7" adapters that I've seen :)

These allow you to use previous 7" JK lights on your JL if you weren't fortunate enough to get the LED upgrade.

So Sup-Light actually didn’t provide rubber gaskets until 12/18/18 onwards but they are sending me a pair anyways which is nice of them. I installed mine ahead of time since I’m waiting for more buckets or adapters to hit the market.

There’s definitely a 1.5 inch gap but it’s fine for now.

That's good that they're sending them to you, should clean up the look quite a bit. Seems like this is the best option available for a more finished look, at least from all the adapters I've seen, and some costing 2x as much or more!

Could you send me a link to the 7" Headlights you are using?

Got mine today, got them in about 10 days and they did come w/ the outer rubber rings, look to be well constructed, look forward to getting these installed when Jeep gets home :)

Yeah, they're decent for what they are. They adjust easily and get the job done. The rubber rings do make it look a bit better. Have fun!

Got our JL a couple weeks ago, installed split halo LEDs w/ the Amazon SUP-light adapters today, haven't adjusted them yet but look to be close out of the box.
Wired the DRLs to fuse 57 w/ a Amazon Micro fuse tap. I was going to run it to a switch in the dash but decided I didn't want to drill into any panels (might at a later date). I haven't wired the amber turn signal switchbacks might do so down the road. The plug in adapters that came w/ the SUP-light mounts worked perfectly and I had to use the anti-flicker CANBUS adapter included w/ the lights to get high beams to function perfectly. All-in for about $200 so am very happy so far, will update if any problems occur. There is a bit of a gap from the back of the headlight grill cutouts to the front of the headlight edge so I may add some spacers if this ends up bugging me. From the front the fit looks great IMO.
