I think they look good but are way over hyped. Bronco got a bad stigma on here because of the ford fanboys flooding the jl forum bragging about how much better the bronco was before the first tire hit the dirt. Then we’ve seen excuse after excuse with all the failures that ford has had (launch, production, pricing, soft top, hard top, interior quality, reliability, etc). Bronco is what we all thought it would be, something trying to be a Jeep but didn’t want to go all in. Yeah it’s a better road vehicle, but so is a Camry. It looks the part of an off-roader and will be able to take on many trails. It just won’t go everywhere wranglers can and as reliable as a wrangler can do it.
Why you gotta be all tribal? ?

It really doesn’t matter how it’s muddled, they are different. Drive what you want.

Now back to my regularly scheduled bumper search….enjoy not talking about Bronco’s ?‍?
Well my friend I have the bumper for you!!! Motobilt Crusher bumper for the front with winch cradle. Make me an offer.

It amazes me how so many Jeepers think that a Jeep should be exactly what they want and to hell with everyone else. I see that a lot. I could say the same about your stargazing. Who the hell buys this type of vehicle to look at stars? Ever heard of a telescope?

The stereo in the Bronco sounded like a Bluetooth speaker in a cardboard box. To me that wasn’t adequate enough. In my opinion the lack of a crossbar didn’t make it a better rig. Sounds like the Wrangler is the right choice for me and you should probably get on the waiting list for a Bronco.
There's a lot more to enjoying the outdoors and offroading then extreme rock crawling. ? I wasn't saying the Bronco was a better rig. I was simply stating I don't pick my rig based on a stereo system. Regardless of the brand.

Sorry if my kids and i like to go camping and take a night drive and look up at the sky in dark sky country. You actually don't even need a telescope you can relax in the seat and use binoculars.

I was on the trail with a Bronco a few weeks ago. 8 JL's made it through a washout area with no issues. The Bronco's electronics freaked out and the thing wouldn't move. We had to wait 10 minutes for the computer to reset. One of the guys I was with said that this had happened a few times with other Broncos over the past few months, at the same spot.
Odd considering you don't even have to use the GOAT mod electronics. ?

1) It occurs to me one reason I got out of my 4Runner was the same reason people seem to like the Bronco.... Maybe it's my brain translating but "requires an uninvolved driving style on the freeway"

2) I didn't think anything over a very light 35" tire was a good idea on an IFS vehicle without heavy upgrades. I wouldn't have done it on the 4Runner, can't see how the stock Bronco system would hold up to it.

3) I like seeing other junk on the trails. (my junk is junk too, all cars are shitboxes)

4) I don't care for Ford, no positive experiences. Bronco to me looks like an International Harvester.

5) I wave on the streets if I see one and it's modded.

6) I got rid of the 4Runner because it could not keep up on the trails I run with friends. I can't see how the Bronco would prove any different.

Hello Mike, All I can say is I lost a long friendship over his emotional attachment to Indians. Shortly after he purchased the Indian 4 he had 2 dogs chewed up by coyotes because he had to get a last minute bid into Ebay for Indian parts.

He has wiped out his whole retirement savings by purchasing Indians and parts over the last ten or fifteen years. He has 3 Gilroy's, a War Chief, Indian 4, and numerous engines, basket cases and parts stuffed inside his garage. It's a serious case of hoarding.

At the time of his dog's demise not one of his Indians were in running condition. Death Valley was our last ride together. I have tried to help him but his hoarding sickness has taken over his life.

Sorry to get this thread off track guys.....

If you want to compare a Wrangler to Bronco then simply purchase one of the many aftermarket solid axle replacement kits available for the Bronco.
I certainly can understand having just bought a 392 with retirement savings. ?

I absolutely hate the fact that we've got another option... I wish this was the good old days when we only had one choice and the decision was made for us... damn younger generation, ruining life for the rest of us... amirite??? /s

I was simply stating I don't pick my rig based on a stereo system.
And I don't pick mine based on how well I can see stars. If I had to choose star gazing and having a stereo that sounds like crap I would rather enjoy a nice sounding stereo for the hours I'll be driving it and when I want to see stars I'll stop the vehicle and step out to see them if the crossbar is in the way.
