Give him credit for not dropping Fix Or Repair Daily
Maybe if you paid $32k cash for a vehicle and it breaks down multiple times within the first year not to mention having the transmission needed replaced twice you probably wouldn’t like said vehicle. Especially when 2 other people in your family are have the exact same problems with the same vehicle.

My friend got a new sasquatch broncos Wildtracs edition. Keeps telling me how fast the 2.7 turbo motor is. I told him I'd race him in my jeep. All he knows is I have a jeep on 35s. He doesn't know anything about Jeeps or that mine has a fire breathing 6.4 in it that does 4 flat to 60 lol I gotta get this on film.
Fast is a stretch. It's definitely a torquey motor though, not much less torque than your 392. I think for the new Bronco Raptor to stand a chance against the 392 it's going to need the motor that's in the Lincoln Aviator. 3.0L TT + Electric with 494 HP and 630 Lb-ft of torque. Oh, and the 10R80 that's in the F150 Raptor. 10R60 isn't gonna cut it.

All “tribalism” aside, it would be interesting to see how the Bronco would be doing if Ford hadn’t completely FUBARed the launch. It will also be interesting to see what lingering effects said FUBARing has on Bronco loyalty. And yes, I have heard of Covid. But Jeep managed to introduce the Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, 392, 4xe, Grand Cherokee L, and new Compass without any apparent problems. Ford completely owns its incredible mismanagement of the Bronco launch. That’s not tribalism talking.

It amazes me how so many Jeepers think that a Jeep should be exactly what they want and to hell with everyone else. I see that a lot. I could say the same about your stargazing. Who the hell buys this type of vehicle to look at stars? Ever heard of a telescope?

The stereo in the Bronco sounded like a Bluetooth speaker in a cardboard box. To me that wasn’t adequate enough. In my opinion the lack of a crossbar didn’t make it a better rig. Sounds like the Wrangler is the right choice for me and you should probably get on the waiting list for a Bronco.
I'm a fan of the sports bar, not just because it makes the Alpine stereo kick ass but because the kids get plenty of use out of it as well. During the summer we take the roof off permanently and we have a hammock in the rear (above the rear seats) and the kids like to sit up there and use the sports bar as a table and have lunch up on the hammock. When there are summer drive in movies we put the front hammock up and each kid grabs a pillow an lays in the hammock and watches the movie from there. Or just simply to climb on it/them with their friends and have a chat.

“Covid” completely screwed up Fords assembly line. My neighbor bought a F150 3 months ago and it has been in the shop 3 times. Lucky for him used car prices are through the roof and he traded it in. My wife has loved all her Fords up till she bought her 2020 Explorer and has decided that she is going to no longer buy any fords.

Just saw these pics on another forums thread and thought how great they look together. Why hate when you can appreciate both? I'd be pretty happy to add a Bronco to my fleet and existing JL Wrangler.

Then we better stop bad mouthing it and start praising it. Why it’s so far better than my Wrangler I’m gonna sell my inferior Wrangler and buy a Bronco etc
That is the idea. And you should also upvote every article/commentary on social media that praises the Bronco.

There is zero benefit for any Wrangler fan telling Jeep that the Wrangler is perfect and that we'd buy it no matter what. Anyone doing that is doing a disservice to the community.

You forgot he should also report all conversations about Wranglers shall be reported as offensive.

My comment was in response to what the other poster called "lame name calling" (re: exploder).
If it was my vehicle, I would simply call it a POS but that's just me ?‍♂

Saw a Bronco yesterday; they are a very rare sight in this city of 90,000 souls swimming in Subarus and Tacomas.

If I were Ford, I would market the flappy soft top as made by Ikea! ?

I think they look good but are way over hyped. Bronco got a bad stigma on here because of the ford fanboys flooding the jl forum bragging about how much better the bronco was before the first tire hit the dirt. Then we’ve seen excuse after excuse with all the failures that ford has had (launch, production, pricing, soft top, hard top, interior quality, reliability, etc). Bronco is what we all thought it would be, something trying to be a Jeep but didn’t want to go all in. Yeah it’s a better road vehicle, but so is a Camry. It looks the part of an off-roader and will be able to take on many trails. It just won’t go everywhere wranglers can and as reliable as a wrangler can do it.
