Nice work @mepperson
Glad someone pushed the 2.0T to the limit. Any chance you have a Dragy so we can see some 0-60 + 1/8 + 1/4 mile numbers?
IIRC, there was a 2.0T 2 Door with bolt ons and a JB4 with sport tires doing mid 13’s in the 1/4 mile. Super impressive if you ask me. I’ve since...
Just grab a pedal commander. It really wakes up the 2.0L. The factory throttle response is terrible.

As for for performance. It’s a JB4 and cold air intake. That’s it…not a whole you can do after that to see any real gains.
The engine is comically loud and not in a good way. Love the power but hated the throttle response and tractor sounds. The 2.7 in my Bronco is so much quieter and more refined. Too bad it gets atrocious gas mileage.
The Bronco isn't perfect, but it's pretty damn good and brings much needed competition to the segment. I won't comment much on the launch, because we all know that is/was a disaster. I'm glad Ford stop taking orders until Oct/22 so they can catch up and do the right thing.
Going back to your...
Hello,
I have a used premium soft top for a Jeep Wrangler JLU. I have all of the parts needed to convert a hard top to a soft top. The soft top is in good condition. Some of the brackets have some scrapes but nothing bad or too noticeable when installed. I used this top for one season and loved...
This is great news. Happy to see the official specs. As I expected, it’s looks strong.
I loved the 2.0L Turbo in my Jeep. The only thing that wasn’t great was the sound. It’s sounded like an old tractor mixed with a new age appliance.
I sold my Jeep and got a Bronco with the 2.7. The extra...
I have a used Racechip RS and AFE high flow air filter for sale. I’ve used both for around 8-10K miles. Both of them combined really wake the 2.0T. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I’m located right outside of Raleigh in Holly Springs.
$200 for both
Same here, except I went with the Sport Altitude. I have the LSD, 1.5” spacers, and Rubicon takeoffs with Rock rails. It constantly surprises me with how capable it is. The BLD system is really damn good.
If you have plan on going with the 2.0T then I would recommend a pedal commander. It completely changes how the vehicle feels. I also installed a Racechip piggyback tuner and aFE high flow air filter. This little Jeep rips. Throw it in 4wheel high and brake boost it up to 3K RPM it will nail...
I own a 2.0T but I’m not in love with the noisy racket. Also, the pedal is extremely spongy so a pedal commander or similar really wakes it up. The power band is very V8 like compared to the 3.6
