My 2019 Rubicon is pulling slightly to the right so I wanted to get it aligned. I've taken it to two shops and after having it all day, they've both said that it's "too new" and their alignment machine doesn't do the type of alignment it needs. The first place said it needed a steering angle alignment. The second place just said it was too new even though I told them the first shop said they couldn't align it.

What alignment capability should I be asking for so I don't waste any more time?

Thanks!

not sure about the machine specs, but i can ditto your experience kinda.
took mine for alignment after trackbar swap, it took them 2 hours.
i asked the alignment guy, and he said the newer jeeps are much more complex. and he hates the new ones and called it a fiat. lol. he was not happy

Unless you have adjustable control arms the only thing any shop could do is set the toe and center the steering wheel. Either of which you could easily do with a tape measure and a few hand tools.

well i know adjustable trackbar means you can center the axle left to right

Most alignment guys unless they work on a lot of Jeep’s don’t have a clue on adjusting track bars. These guys are typically production techs and that’s not a typical thing that is adjustable on most vehicles.

Go to a 4wd jeep specialist shop. They do it all the time. Find one that does Jeeps. I’ve seen a lot of those. Around.

Georgia Jeep Tech in Cumming can align it. Talk to Jon and ask if he thinks that will help with the "pull".

My steering wheel was slightly to the right, so I centered it in my garage in about 30 minutes using basic tools. Have you tried that?

It's not a steering wheel alignment issue. It's pulling/drifting to the right. After doing some reading in the forums, I think I'm seeing the steering issue that there a number of threads about. Sloppy steering, dead spot in the middle, and slight drift to the right.
