Airing down makes suspension live longer?

Today I tried 10 psi and things got butter smooth. So I wonder if people who feel lazy and go off road at 34 PSI are hurting their suspension components, on top of helping the Chiropractic industry?

I mean, every suspension component has a service life. The more jarring/jolty conditions you subject your suspension components to the shorter their service life will be.

It's like having sex on the floor vs mattress. Both are fun but you would need knee replacement a lot sooner if you do more of the former.

I'm not sure why you seem to be focused on the suspension. It impacts every part of the Jeep. Hell, if you have close tolerances between painted parts those impacts could be detrimental, as you've discovered.

Note that 10 PSI with normal wheels is beyond my comfort level. 12 is as low as I'll go on the more extreme (7+) trails. 14-ish for everything else.
