Aftermarket third brake lights

Has anyone had any issues with aftermarket third brake lights and state inspection? I’m specifically talking about PA State Inspection and the small led brake light on the Ace Stand Alone tire carrier, but there’s lots of other companies that have similar brake lights. Anyone fail their inspection due to it? I’m installing the Ace carrier, but I think I’m going to try and adapt the Mopar third brake light to it.

Look up the state statute. I’m confident however that you will pass. Worst case zip tie up something temp and go do your inspection.

Yeah, I’m due for inspection in December. I’ll probably just run the Ace brake and if it fails I’ll adapt the Mopar brake light to it.
