Just wondering if there is a go-to aftermarket LED tail light for a JL with stock halogens. I see many cheap versions on eBay but I'm pretty confident they are not going to hold up yet I don't want to spend the five or $600 on The replacements at CJ offroad that looks similar to the stock but if that is the quality option I suppose maybe it's worth it? Looking for the red version and not a smoked lens. I'm not interested in getting a taser so looking for plug and Play halogen replacement lights that come with the resistors. I don't mind the look of the flush mount Oracle lights but between the price and some reports of questionable reliability, not sure I want to go that route.
Thanks for any advice.

The Oracle Flush Mounts have been the most popular tail light:

Not quite as sexy looking are the Quake Tail lights, they have a more industrial look:

I think those industrial looking ones actually look cool. Not sure how they would mount, but for the price, I'd spend 500 on the stock led replicas on the CJ offroad site. If those were 300 I'd be in ;)

I bought the Form Lighting LED tails.

I waited for a sale so paid less than $300. Red and smoked lenses as options. I think they look amazing and the extra reverse light and amber sequential turn signals are awesome looking. Not really plug and play (you do have to run some wiring for all the features) but seems simple enough. Definitely check out their videos...shows the features and install.

Are you not a fan of the stock tail lights? You can find OEM take-offs in the forum marketplace pretty often.

I bought these for my JL XR and they're surprisingly pretty nice for the price.

I believe Oracle has the issues solved and behind them. Mine have been problem free. My application was halogen equipped Sport S, no proximity sensors. It was a plug and play install.
Bonus, the backups are surprisingly bright.
