Well, Ive gone into the rabbit hole a bit over LED tail lights. I've sent back the tail lights that are having an issue that I purchased from CarID.

What really confused me when shopping for these LED tail lights was the vast price difference for what looks to be identical...for the most part.

https://www.quadratec.com/p/overtread/skyline-led-tail-lights-wrangler-jl-19049 - $399

https://www.extremeterrain.com/raxiom-jeep-wrangler-horizon-led-tail-lights-j133625-jl.html - $276

https://www.carid.com/2020-jeep-wra...a-fiber-optic-led-tail-lights-2604451653.html - $276

https://www.amazon.com/VLAND-Compat...il+lights+jeep+jl&qid=1637686277&sr=8-13&th=1 - $178

(Note, all these feature the dynamic animation when they are turned on)

I'm in the first group buy for the flush mount tail lights but since the ETA is early Jan, with current market conditions, could be early Feb, who knows. So I bought the Vlands from Amazon. This way I have something while I wait and I was curious to see how they compared to those from CarID. And the best I can tell they are identical. Below are pictures of the ones from CarID(Xprite) on the left and the ones from Amazon(VLand) on the right. The only difference I can see is the color of the wires. So if you like that style tail light and want to give them a try, I'd get the ones from Amazon. I have them on now for a few days and they work with no issues. I'll be watching them closely over the next several weeks.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Wondering - Did you start with factory LED? I have factory halogens and I'm looking to upgrade the tail lights. This looks interesting, but I'm trying to avoid flashing or a dealer trip. I like the look of these for sure. Have they continued to hold up for you?
If you look at the reviews on that link you posted there are no hyperflash issues when going from halogen setups, so you're good to go!
My Rubicon knockoff type lights have inline resistors so no issues w/ those either :)

Indeed, I had the factory halogens. I've never had an issue after 1.5 years.

Do you happen to have a link to these? And how are they holding up?
AFAIK they're all basically the same, I've had mine for 3 yrs now and they're great, working as good as day 1. Just like the stock Rubicon tails, the reverse light isn't too bright so an extra light bar or some LED pods for reverse lights are a good addition. I would buy these again for sure, they've been that good!

These aren't from the seller that I used, I think I went on Aliexpress. But these should be the same lights and this is the best price I've seen listed. It's been awhile since I installed the, but IIRC you reuse the back side of the OEM lights, they just screw into the new ones. You also have to mount a resistor in line w/ the hot wire going into the bulbs. Pic below show the clip on resistor, which mounts real secure FWIW.

I've had the Oracle flush mounts now for over a year, ...much better than anything else Ive seen or tried IMO.
