Just ask @cosine he knows!
I've been watching these taillight review threads since before I got my JL because I really want to upgrade but it seems like there are no actual quality, not smoked, aftermarket LED taillight options out there. Every one that has been reviewed either has an update that they died after a few months, or no update at all. It really looks like they are all re-branded versions of the same chinese knock-offs you can get on ebay or Amazon.
Yep, there seems to be 2 or 3 similar designs but basically the same light & quality. FWIW I've had the smoked hourglass version for over 2 years, still working great and the smoked look goes well w/ my gray & black JL. Only downer is the reverse LED isn't very bright, got a small light bar on my bumper for that.

Yeah, I think you are correct. I bought those thru Car ID and they are helping me get replacements but it means I have to pull them off and send them back. I really don't want to have to put the OEM ones back. So I said screw it, ordered a pair from Amazon that looked very similar and offer free returns. Below is what I got - notice the double sided tape and no place for the plastic wire screw to secure. Also that connection doesn’t look right to me. Going back today!

Of course I bought these just the day before the the Oracle Flush Mount LEDs became available in a group buy. Ive since ordered those. I hope I don't regret it. I'll end up with two sets of tail lights and $600 spent, I could have just bought OEM factory LEDs which what I was going to do.

BTW - this is the brand picture below: $159.00 on Amazon

I'm not sure if that was directed at me but I've already paid for the new flush mount tail lights via the group buy. Hopefully they arrive early January.

Can you please make a version that's not blacked out? I'd be willing to give yours a try but I have no interest in having less-bright taillights and having to find an inspection station that will overlook them.

Exactly why I finally just bit the bullet and bought some Mopar OEM LEDs. Yup, they're pricey - but you can find them in the members marketplace pretty regularly now.

Yep, this ....if I had a time machine and could start all over I'd go with OEM. I did look in marketplace for months tho and only once saw OEM LEDs for sale and where gone I think in 30 mins. I still like the looks of the aftermarket ones I purchased better however a bit more important they work properly.

I meant a version of the regular taillights. The flush ones are hideous IMO.
Ha. Gotcha, we don't have plans right now to make the Black Series tail lights non-smoked but will pass along your interest.

Agreed! I bought my ‘18 JL the first day my dealership let me place the order. I had no clu how good the ORM LEDs were until JLs started showing up on the lots. Lol

Looking forward to seeing how you like the new @ORACLElights set up when you get it.

You hope? Lol thank you for the concern, but see my review here: They've worked without issue for a year and a half and look pretty. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
I said I hope they were not made by Winjet, mine were super when I put them in but did not last a week and lots of others had issue with them, seems lots of dist are selling them but some are copies, glad they are working for you…. I really liked the sequential lamp but mine went back and I got the Raxioms which kinda look like factory bulbs
