I installed the AEV Under Dash Jack Base mount kit and I want to share a few pictures. I could not find them anywhere else on the internet when researching it.

How did you get the plastic cover off?

twist and pull. mine wasnt that hard to remove

It slips through the hole in the middle of the jack base and secures it flat against the fire wall.

I’m not understanding how the L bracket fits in the floorboard.

Yea I could be interested in some more info on this and how it installs. I've had my jack base sitting in the back for a while and this could be a good spot for it.

you cut a 2 inch slit in your carpet

Put the strap below the plastic nut that holds the carpet in place

Pull it through the hole

Put the carpet back and install your jack base. Does not work with the Mopar jack base.

I attached the instructions from AEV.
