I just purchased a set of AEV 7000 lights and trying to figure out how to wire them to my factory Mopar auxiliary lights. Does anyone know what number switch to use 1/2 or 3/4 ? I plan on just wiring them directly without the fuse or relay and switch.

thanks for any advice

Any, 1&2 are the 40s IIRC so may want to save them.

the lights were done as part of my AEV conversion at OK4WD, but yes they are wired directly to the factory Aux switch without the AEV fuse, switch etc.

All Aux switches are already relayed and fused so no need for harnesses that come with light kits…just wire positive light wires to aux switch and body ground negative light wires.

True however if you want to control the aux light for high /low beam then an additional relay is needed.
Most of us want aux lights for high beam and not for low beam
They don’t function with high beam? Not in my experience…I am able to use the aux switch with my IFP Bumper Spot lights with the brights on. Also with the JScan, I also have dogs on when Brights are on too.
