well, I think I’d want a wrangler with km/h since that’s what we have here. I wonder if there’s any dealers doing that here in Canada.

when they had these 5% off wholesale, it’s end of model year sales? ...i.e. wasn’t when the model year was introduced??

Certainly for distance alone Rob, buying from Koons--assuming they still offer such discounts--may suggest you deal with a Canadian dealer.

Then again, people have bought from Koons from all over the country and world. I kid you not.

Because it's a factory order you may be able to specify a Canadian build--which is my language to indicate things like the analog speed odometer be metric.

Pther than that, much that is digital is configurable by the owner between metric and imperial (i.e. inches/pounds/etc.) measurements.

There was positively no catch on what model JLs you could buy this way that I was aware of at any dealer. It might extend to the Gladiator to, I just don't know--I've been out of the buying loop for some time now, but the forum's thread on this is bound to be current.

Again, it's about dealers getting volume incentives from FCA for moving lots of product, that makes up in part for the loss in profit from not charging higher to the consumer for less sales of prebuilt rigs, where such incenties are split with the customer.

Hmm I’ll check them out. Not sure when travel ban will lift...but since it’s an order that’s months away.

Don’t settle for what a dealer has. My recommendation is AutoTrader. Absolutely no need to waste time stepping foot into a dealer until you’re going to pick up your Jeep. Can search inventory within whatever range you want to drive. Pick your color engine and check the window stickers to see exactly what options the vehicles have. Can still get your Jeep serviced under all warranty at your local dealer. Live in NJ. Searched from NC to Maine to find the Firecracker Red Dual Top with safety package. Ended up buying in Brooklyn and saved >2k vs any local dealer. Never walked in that dealer until I picked it up. Always get a better deal when the car is on the lot. Instead of posting full ticket fit what you want. Find exactly what you want out there and get a deal on it. Good luck

Do not settle, period. You will constantly regret it if you do. Order if you must and have the time flexibility, or locate one at a dealer with the options and model you truly want.

It is a large investment to say the least, and adding regrets to that investment is not the way to start off. Best of luck on your search! :)

Another opinion chiming in lol. I luckily found the exact one I wanted a few weeks ago. White/White/White JLUR with the LED Kit, V6, and the Alpine system. Personally I have no need or care for the auxiliary switches, won't tow and when I do install things that need them, I will get that sorted out then. GET WHAT YOUR HEART DESIRES. If you settle, it'll eat away at you for a bit.

As to the MT vs AT, the MTs ride pretty smooth and soft, the Falken's on mine are not harsh or rough personally.

If you are considering the Rubicon, go for it...if you do any sort of modifications down the road, the Rubicon extras make it so worth it. They also hold their value so well.
