Adjusting speedometer for different size tire?

How do you calibrate the speedometer after wheel size change? Do you need a handheld programmer or dealership?

Invest in a Tazer or Flashcal.
Has many other uses too down the road.
I would never go to the dealership for something like this and rob me for $200 of my hard earned money every time I upgrade my tires.

Modifications would have to have been proven to be the cause of something unfortunate to void the warranty. Magnus-Moss Act...there are quite a few posts referencing this & mods/warranties. Tires, wheels, suspension parts, you name it.

Tazer or dealer can do it. All dealers are different, some don't give a shit and others are assholes. Fortunately my dealer is very mod friendly, they do lifts etc.

My wife bought a malibu recently from a different dealer and they had her sign something acknowledging modifying the car in any way can void her warranty.
