Those will fit and work. However they’ll fit much like mine do in the photos. If you use spacers they’ll stick out more. Also, some have reported that tire shops won’t mount 12.5” tires on 7.5” wide wheels, but they will mount 315mm tires on them which is 12.4”.
Good to know!

I assume with a Tazer JL ?
I’ve had one sitting in my living room for a couple of months since before I bought my JL, but I haven’t used it yet, lol. I have the low tire warning but haven’t adjusted for tire size or pressure with the Tazer yet.

So along these lines I'd appreciate any expert answers/confirmation of this.....
I've ordered 265/70R17 on 17x8.5" wheels.
Tirerack are warning I may need to modify the fender or arches to prevent rubbing.

Anyone know for sure if that is needed ?? I'd rather not make any mods just yet.

That tire size doesn't sound right.

I am running 315/70/17 Milestar Patagonia M/T's on stock JLR wheels:

The size tire you mention sounds too small, unless you're looking for a 31.5" tire.

Just looking for close to stock.
245 / 75R17 All Season Tires.

TireRack suggested the wheel/tire combo. I'm no expert ... lol.

However, on further research TireRack also suggest an 8" wheel can have stock tires (245/75R17) however on their website the specs say that tire size can only be used on 6.5" to 7.5" !! So getting more confused with more research !

Looking to upgrade to this same setup. How do you like those tires? Do they measure exactly 35”?
