that's awesome I'm so tempted to trade I really miss my RAM but I love my Jeep too. I'm just spoiled by the latest creature comforts in newer cars that I know Jeep won't offer. I really want just a touch more space. I'm looking at a F150 or (gulp!!) a bronco. I live in Florida now so not much off roading in these parts :( but I doubt I will get the 40k that I need for my 21 4xE Sahara. So it's just a pipe dream at this stage but beautiful truck !!! love GMC too but out of my price range.

3 vehicle family- F150 is my daily, SUV for long road trips, and 2 door MT Jeep for fun- best of all worlds.

Same here but we have a Trail Boss as an extra vehicle for big jobs and to transport my bikes to the trail, the Wrangler for the trail without bikes, my wife's daily because she loves it too much not to drive it, and also top back summer night cruising, and a Cadillac CTS as my daily and our road trip machine.

Often my wife complains about the extra cost of maintaining a fleet of 3 (or more) vehicles (we've been doing it since we got married), and then I offer to sell off the Cadillac and daily the Trail Boss and she immediately thinks of the fuel wasted and the fact that one of us is stranded if either vehicle breaks...and that's her biggest fear so I think we'll always have at least 3 vehicles.

You know that "lingering regret" you mentioned...it never goes away till you buy a new Jeep. Ask me how I know. LoL

I get changing vehicles if you have to choose one or the other but the truck will never be as fun! I wouldn't get rid of my F150 or the Jeeps but the F150 is by far the best long distance travel vehicle - Well, I guess 2nd, I have a motorhome to tow the jeeps long distance :)

100%. We both have 2 vehicles, her second one is a convertible fun car, mine is an older paid off GTI. Makes sense to have backups.
OP nice truck!

Best long distance travel vehicle for the family. Not so much for the driver.

Well, the time has come for me to say goodbye. I traded my Jeep over the weekend, and still have some mild, lingering regret. I have to say this forum has been great during the time I had my Jeep. I saved so much money on service and installation related costs from things I learned here. And there were so many members here always willing to offer advice and direction. I'll miss you guys.

And now, a retrospective...

Here she is the day I got her, 18 miles on the clock:

And here she is on our last day, 47k miles later:

I just bought a very similar truck four days ago!

I’m already irritated, because GM doesn’t include accessory/upfitter switches on a truck with a $109,000 Monroney sticker, and they have no easy solutions.

We’ll fabricate a fix, but sheesh!

Sorry to see you go. And, if you’re like me, see you back soon! ;)
