So hypothetically speaking, if I got another Jeep front dash hub (assuming it’s not molded into that whole dash piece) and managed to stuff it inside the dash (pretty sure not enough space), then connected to it my USB going to the top of dash, CarPlay would work?

Would it only require me to connect one of the the wires feeding USB or every wire going to that hub?
I honestly couldn't tell you how all of that works or would work. All I know, is that CarPlay and Android Auto simply don't work without the hub. These things are so tightly integrated with the vehicle's CANBUS, I don't know if you can add another hub and not cause any issues.

I use a CarLinkit adapter in my armrest USB for wireless CarPlay. It works flawlessly and I don't have to worry about cables.

Which one do you use?

I don't like wires hanging from the dash either, so I ran a line out of the console to the side of the E-Brake. Drill a hole in the side of the console for it to come out of and it runs right next to the drivers seat where you can't see it. My phone plugs in and sits in the E-Brake tray out the way allowing use of the cupholders as well.
