I've gotten used to heated seats in my other vehicles, and unfortunately my 2018 2-door is not equipped. I had always told myself I'll get one of the kits that install under the factory seat covers, requiring at least a nice full day of teardown and reassembly....with a nifty dash or center console mounted switch and some nice tidy wiring.
The here and now is friggin cold, and I've conceded to trying a heated seat cover that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Poking around the google, it seems like these COZY WINTERS Deluxe Heated Car Seat Covers could fit the bill. I'd like to avoid complete junk, so any recommendations/alternatives either positive or negative are appreciated.

My local shop charges about $500 to install the heated seats like you were going to do. I'd go that route.

I have heated seats on my 2020 willys and love them so I wanted heated seats on my 2025 f250.
On my willys the drivers heated seat failed about a year ago and I replaced it my self.
I did not want to want to do this again on my f250 so I purchased a kit and had my local upholstery shop install them. $500.

I bought a GMC that had Katskins leather seat covers with seat heaters installed. I have had them 3 years and they still work and look great. That would be my choice.

I bought a cheap set of seat heaters off Amazon and they have worked fine for 2 years now. They plug into the cigarette lighter and I remove them when not needed.

Those look interesting. Good price and good reviews...of course online reviews can be fake/bought. But if the product is good...that is a good price. And I like the flexibility of just removing them in warmer seasons.

This ⬆ Katzkin will cost a pretty penny but is the best way for upgrading to quality leather and adding heat at the same time.
