You got one single example to back up that pricing claim? Lol. I know of same price examples myself, but not more expensive manual. Manufacturers like keeping manuals around as a low-take rate option, as it lets them flaunt a low starting msrp that applies to nearly nobody.Be happy most people want the Automatic. If most people wanted the Manual they would charge you 2K for a manual. Same as sports cars. Go configure a sports car and the Automatic is standard and an upcharge for the manual as most buying a true sports car want the manual.
Nowhere did I say they should order more manuals than autos.. I just find 1 in 50 dealer orders makes it tricky.
