I have 2020 JL with 3.6 engine. Two weeks ago, I cold started my Jeep and the ABS light came on and stayed on. I stopped and started several times, same result. I took it to auto parts store where a scan showed no error codes. He cleared the light and it went out. Today, three days later, same thing. Light came on after cold start and stayed on, even after two stops/restarts. No error codes and the light is still on. Any idea what is going on and should I take it in to have a mechanic figure it out?

How did he make the light go out if no stored codes? There's no "clear lights" on a scanner.
I don't know. The light was on, an had been on for about a week, whenever he attached the scanner, and it went off when he was done.

A mechanic will have a far better scan tool that can find codes stored in the antilock brake module. You can do this yourself with something like Jscan, but if this sounds daunting, let a mechanic do it.

OK, thanks. That's the conclusion I was getting to as well.
