I probably wouldn't cancel for anything and I would order another one and trade in my 1st order when the 2nd one comes in. 100% the first order is worth more than what I paid for it and any dealer would be smart enough to take my trade in stright up for my 2nd order / even give me money back as long as the orders are similar

This is exactly what I would do. I damn near dropped a 2nd order after Gobi was announced and I don't even pick up my '22 XR until Saturday.

I honestly thought about ordering another UR XR again in Gobi and just trade in my first order. Actually built it on the site this morning, was tempting to send it to Daniel and Renee.

I can't think of any reason I would cancel. I've pretty much bought the same configuration (and color) JKU and now JLU for the last 12 years and know exactly what I need and want.

After I received the Vin on my order, I realized the dealership ordered the wrong engine! So the second order is in now, maybe I will get it by fall!

Don't cancel (and most dealers won't actually cancel anyway). You might be able to make a deal with the ordering dealer to let them buy it from you, since they'll be able to sell it well above MSRP.

Yep this is my plan 100%. My October order just touched down in state and pick it up Sat. I want Gobi tan now. So will use my next tread lightly…. Do it again…. And that vehicle is probably 6 months out at this point. Will probably be able to straight up trade or even positive equity unless the market totally changes.

Sounds like you ordered same week as me (1/24). According to my dealers rep at Jeep, I’m slated to build week of 4/25 though I’m unable to confirm that with Jeep Chat
