8 Speed Transmission Filter Nuts

Before dropping the pan, can anyone tell me specifically what size and type of nuts are used to secure the transmission filter? I'm guessing maybe they are the self locking acorn style nuts, since they get backed off ½ turn to allow the filter to seat.

I've read they should be replaced when replacing the filter, and the filter I ordered didn't come with any.
By the time I see the existing ones, I won't have a ride to go get some replacements.

They are 6mm thread, but have a wide flange built in. They are not acorn style. They look like this

Awesome, very helpful. Thank you. I'm thinking maybe the old ones can be re-used. Unless there's something in the engineering of these nuts that gets degraded following installation and removal.

I bought a new pan so I could install a drain plug. It came with the filter installed, I removed the filter to weld on the pan, when I put the filter back on the nuts seemed to hold well. I'm sure they won't back off.
