I just bought a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and the screen is constantly rebooting every 4 minutes and is even rebooting while the vehicle is off.
I did a hard reset of the radio and it's still doing it. I talked to my closest Jeep dealership and they said I need to call UConnect directly to see what they say and that they can't do anything about it. I called another dealership that was a bit further away and they stated they can try to manually update it to see if that fixes it but most likely I will need to get a replacement unit. Now I've read others state that they have even had issues after a while with the new unit or units being installed.
My question is if I do indeed need to get a replacement do I just go with the 8.4 UConnect replacement or do I go with a HEIGH10 or if there are any other recommendations.
If I do go with the HEIGH10 do I just need to buy the kit on stinger's website https://stingeroffroad.com/collections/shop-jeep-wrangler-jl/products/jeep-jl-jt-10in-radio-kit for the RB10JW18B which is the fully integrated kit and does this come with everything I need for the install or do I need to buy RadioPro Advanced kit as well from https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/radio-replacement/srk-jw18eh
