I think you will find this at all tire shops now-a-days. Many even have a clause that you need to come back to have the wheels torqued again after 20 miles or something.I personally like the "we arent responsible if your wheels fall off because we didn't torque your lugnuts" clause.
2nd this. Discount tire will beat that on the Nitto RGs. Just Completed sale today. Those are actually VERY reasonable prices. I paid that for my 37" x 1250 x 17 Nitto RG.
Personally, I would take that to Discount Tire and have them price match. Get their Certs and lifetime balance and call it good.
Didn’t realize not in the NortheastYeah I don't think I have one near NY/CT.
Tazer = what TPMS?That is dirt cheap for TPMS
I can blame them. Wheels falling off is serious business. A wheel falling off on the highway has a good chance of killing someone. We take stuff like that much too lightly sometimes. Making sure the wheels are torqued correctly is probably one of the most important things you could do with a car lol. Like... if you can't torque wheels correctly you shouldn't be working on cars. You cannot really blame them though for covering their butts. Lots of folks looking to sue.
Maybe there is a page missing and it also includes an upgrade to Dana 60s.I gotquoted 7k to swap out to 35s/37s Cooper Discoverer STT Pros and add extensions. It must have been a typo?
