I'm having trouble confirming if there are any 50" light bars that mount on top of the windshield or the rear lip. Obviously there are light bars but I'm guessing there's a problem with the mounts. No website displays a clear answer

Currently (at least to my knowledge) there are no brackets that can accommodate an overhead light bar. I've seen some over the hood, but none over head.

You are 100% correct! Wow, can't believe I couldn't find one. What's interesting is on their website it's not even under JL products.

Btw, called and confirmed that it does not block the front windshield from folding down.

There is a company on eBay listed some but they want like $200. I am getting a bracket on day as I used my light a lot when camping and such. eBay item 273382288828

I went with DV8.
Just a heads up though, DV8 says you use the factory hard ware to mount up the brackets. That's not 100% true. One of the bottom two on each side will no longer be long enough. You are going to have to pick up a couple of them from Mopar ($10 CAD each) or where ever you choose to shop. Mopars part number is #6508953AA. M8 1.25
One other option is, if you have the Mopar third brake light relocation bracket then you can just swap out those two for two that you take out.

Road Armor has a mount that I'm using. I like that it replaces the factory cowl piece and doesn't just mount on top of it.

Did that come with a bar across the top as indicated by the arrow in the pic?

Thanks

No it did not. It was 4 pieces total. 2 pieces that replace the OEM cowl piece on each side and then the 2 A Pillar pieces that bolt to each cowl piece.
The photo you have posted is the Rigid Adapt Array model.
