OK, so I need a relay and fusible link for each set (2) of cube lights. I would prefer to wire them both to the same on/off switch is that an option, can one switch handle it?

If my jeep has auxiliary switches, are they fairly easy enough to get behind there to wire to them?
If you are going to use relays and the relays are going to be under the hood, then I recommend you get waterproof relays... also... decent-quality wires ... if they are automotive rated better still.. perhaps a bit thicker than the gauge recommended for the lightbars/light pods you choose

That's a good point. I remember purchasing wire in the past it was a heavier gauge wire then I would have ever imagined. I'll need to find out how many amps the lights are. They never seem to add that information on some of the websites.

They usually don't because manufacturers love to exaggerate the power consumption to make the lights appear brighter on paper.. LOL..

the simplest way is to use a multimeter and measure the actual current consumption.. then select the wire gauge based on real current consumption values..

If you want independent control over 2 pairs of cubes, than each pair would need it's own circuit (wiring, fuse, relay, and switch). If you want everything to run together on one switch, no problem. Just make sure to use a wire gage, relay, and fuse that's rated to cover the total amperage of whatever amount of lights are on that circuit.

If you have the factory aux switches, than they're already set up with independent relays, fuses, and wiring. The wiring includes two hookup points. One under the glove box and the other is on the inside of the passenger fender next to the main battery, and both wire bundles are color coordinated to each aux switch. The bundle by the battery has 4 wires (one for each aux switch) and the one by the glove box has the same 4 plus a hot with ignition wire and a hot all the time wire.

I checked; my jeep doesn't have any auxiliary switches. That's OK, right size wire, fuse and relay will be fine.

Thank you ?

Like JLTruman mentioned earlier, most reputable light companies include harnesses with their lights, or at least offer them as add-ons. They will already include the proper wire gage, relay, fuse, and switch in a neat and fully waterproof package that's simply plug and play.
