No, it doesn't seem like a lot. It is normal for a car dealership to have cars for sale. This also means that the chip shortage is less of a concern, at least for now.

A lot of dealers will display all of their incoming customer orders as "in transit". If they're one of the dealers that took a bunch of orders, this wouldn't surprise me.

Most of those are likely customer orders. Dealers are still supposed to list them on their site as inventory, but I bet if you called, you'd find that few are actually for sale.

I think for us this is JEEP TERRITORY, when I bought my Jeep they had about 100 Turbo 2.0 and only a handful of V-6 at Earnhart- Gilbert, Az. After a year with very few selection they want to get as many wranglers on the lot as possible.

Just picked up my Rubicon 4XE from them yesterday and drove it back to Vegas...

They were great to deal with for an out of state sale.

Great communication and honesty in making a deal over the phone.

I'm not sure about that because they wouldn't go below MSRP when I asked a few months ago. I had to go out of state for a deal. Though perhaps we have plenty of people in AZ willing to order at MSRP.
