Yup, and first adopters are dealing with plenty of issues. Typical Ford launch. They need like 3 years before they can get ahead of most of the bugs IMO. Jeep is about the same .......I hope the 4XE is better but thanks to all the early adopters ......

Your welcome. I've had plenty of new release models anywhere from high end to mid level. They have all had TSB's to be done and some with recalls. I'm fine with it. It definitely isn't for everyone and some do it without realizing what they probably are getting into. This one isn't my primary vehicle, so makes it even easier.

The 4XE gets most of the electric tech from a really competent supplier and is similar to the system used in the Pacifica. It is not nearly the engineering challenge that a full EV is.

IMO, the only potential problems with the 4XE will involve longevity for vehicles that are off roaded often.
