I recently leased a brand-new 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hybrid from them. After just a few days of driving, I noticed a serious issue with the air conditioning—it doesn’t cool the car properly, even when it’s on full blast.

I brought the vehicle back to the dealership two weeks after the lease began to have it inspected. They told me there was nothing wrong with it and that there was nothing they could do. So now I’m stuck with a vehicle that doesn’t work as it should, and if I want to get out of the lease, I’d have to pay $3,500 out of pocket.

I’ve been leasing new vehicles for over three decades, and this is by far the worst car and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced—from both Chrysler and this dealership. Extremely disappointed.
if you spent more than five minutes researching you would've avoided a GC 4xe and bought the gas model instead.

all the dealership can do is an a/c performance test. if it passes there's nothing wrong with it.

Sounds like you need to go to a different dealer, if it's severely underperforming, it's broke.

Our '24 Wrangler 4xe blows like an icy cold hurricane 😜 As far as I can remember, our '21 4xe was the same, and talking working well in the Florida summer heat.

Side note: $3500 sounds odd / wrong / cheap to break a lease in what sounds like the very early ownership cycle. Typically you'd be into it for the lease balance factored against the current market value.

AC works just fine thankfully; added a Hothead Headliner to my SOT roof and its been great keeping the jeep cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. the tan looks awesome with my saddle brown/tan or whatever they call it interior..

I'm in humid/hot FL. My A/C works fine in all modes. Don't notice any difference when switching between them other than the battery drains quicker if I have the A/C cranked. I usually just set it to a number and leave it on Auto. Hard top w/ headliners and ceramic windows/windshield so I'm sure that helps too.

Are you driving in full electric mode? The A/C doesn’t perform as well in electric-only mode.
It doesn't get into or above the 90's often up here, but I have noticed this as well.
