Not worried about the EV range because there are so many variables that make it change. My Pacifica was rated at 33 miles. In 4 years I've see it vary from 38 to 25 depending on temperature, town or hwy driving, or if my wife (Mrs. Lead Foot I'm not even trying to get good MPG) or myself (Mr. How far can I go before the engine turns on). 21 / 370 are great numbers for a Wrangler!!! We have to remember we didn't buy a Prius. Biggest tip is keep the heater off as much as you can!! That's by far the biggest drain on the battery in my experience.Same.
Real-world range was always going to vary; so, while the decrease is still a bit annoying, it's not a huge deal breaker.
Horsepower and torque, on the other hand, are pretty concrete measurements that should absolutely have been very close to correct from the get-go, so I'm relieved to see that those haven't changed.
So Fisker was stunned when the EPA released its rating and said the Karma is only good for 32 miles of range in all-electric mode. To see which estimate was closest to reality, Edmunds.com ran a two-day Fisker Karma fuel-efficiency test. Even when climbing hills and plowing down the freeway at speeds well in excess of 70 mph, the Karma was always able to do better than the EPA estimate. It averaged 40.8 miles of range in all-electric mode over two days. In a city loop with no highway driving, it attained 45.4 miles of range."
Good to know. I’m from Northern CA as well but ordered mine from Orange County. Estimated ship date is 3/16 with ~2weeks before arrival. I’m trying to get a guess on rail/truck timelines. Did your dealer give you a ship date?My Dealer reached out to me today and said that I am on track to have delivery of my Wrangler the second week of April. Dealer is in Northern CA.
No ship date just told be everything is on track for it to arrive 2nd week of April. Dealership in Aurburn, CA.Good to know. I’m from Northern CA as well but ordered mine from Orange County. That will be a nice drive back.Ordered my 4xe out of Idaho on 2/10, Just got an update from my dealer that is supposed to ship on March 20th. Not sure how long shipping is going to be but buying my plane ticket for 4/10. I am flying southwest so if the date slips I won't have any issues changing times.
My dealer just got back to me and said expect a month in transit. Not sure if he is just being cautious or not. I am still going to book a flight for 3 weeks and hope for the best. If not I am going to have to wait a little over 2 more weeks to go get it.No ship date just told be everything is on track for it to arrive 2nd week of April. Dealership in Aurburn, CA.
Sounds like caution to me. It is my understanding it is usually a 2 week thing. But who knows. Maybe a ton in storage will cause some delays. My dealer just got back to me and said expect a month in transit. Not sure if he is just being cautious or not. Yeah kind of looking forward to it. I used to live up there but been a while. Anyway how are you liking the Auburn dealer? My wife and I stopped in there several months ago but just looking. Seemed nice but still a dealership. That will be a nice drive back.
They are good, I just moved here from CO a year ago and went to Hoblit in Woodland and they were horrible. I sat down one day and called every deal within 100 miles and Auburn was the only dealership that said they had a 4Xe that they would let me order how I wanted it and use my affiliate discount. They have been great so far with everything I ask.Yeah kind of looking forward to it. I used to live up there but been a while. Anyway how are you liking the Auburn dealer? Interesting, I called around most of Northern CA as well and couldn’t find anything under MSRP....perhaps I should have kept calling? Auburn may be the only dealership in the state that’s taking an affiliate discount. They are good, I just moved here from CO a year ago and went to Hoblit in Woodland and they were horrible.
