Lots of people are running 38.5 tires with stock axles and loving it. If you're only 1.5 inches away from 40s why have to go the route of new axles just for an inch and a half taller on tires. That to me is a wasteúí

looks like that light bar says RC which is the Rough Country 50 inch light bar is that right?l What brackets did you use to mount it with what company is it ?
Yes sir. It’s DV8 brackets.

Cool I'll need to go look at their website.how much were they so many people are charging like $200 for those two brackets as time goes on they will lbe cheaper like the JK was but very few people make them now so they know they can get 200 a set. I remember buying some for the JK and I think I paid 60 bucks and they were well-made

Those do not look like 42s. They look small. Do you have a foot of lift or something?
I can drive my Tacoma 4x4 under the mirrors that’s why I posted it for reference.

It might ride okay with 42 on the highway but it can't be that good to drive as a daily driver with that much of a lift I've had pickup trucks with 12 inch lift and 40s on a superduty and it looked great and it was okay but it wasn't the best to drive as a daily driver

Jeeps lots of jeeps
8” longarm . The pics suck it’s pretty big 43” to the floorboards.
This picture makes it more clear how high the jeeps is. 8 inches is a monster. How much lift do you think it would need to clear the 42s? Looks like it has a ton of clearance now.

I had about 7.5-8 inches of lift with 40s on a JKU. Spent the first couple months with a pulled groin from stepping up into it lol.

I figure 5 or 6 at the most. I know what you mean it’s a struggle to get in. Getting some amp steps Wednesday. I figure I could fit 44’s now. Front has plenty of room rear is a little close to the fenders

A good rode it rides good. Get on one with lots of ruts in the road (like most) are not that great it darts a little. It’s kind of like my Harley except with a/c heat. I drive the Tacoma more . The Jeep I guess is more of a toy per say.

It is crazy what size tires you can fit on these. The TJ needed that much lift to fit 33s lol.

the JK you had to have at least a 3-inch lift to put 35 you can run 35s on a stock JL. If you take the bottom part of the fenders off on the JL you can put 40s the owner of rock krawler did it
