What are you guys running larger tires using for the 3rd brake light? I can't see mine at all over my 37s and the factory light is fully extended. I am not seeing a good option on an extension anywhere.

I’ve not used this but this is what I typically see on Jeeps with big tires.

Apparently those won't pass inspection in Texas. I mean we can carry pistols on our side and a AR15 in the back rack of our trucks but we can't mess around with brake lights...lol..I kind of think they look like they are for people that put ducks on their dashes too.

After searching for the past couple of days, I will probably just order the Mopar relocation kit. It will be a hassle if I have a flat and have to remove it but I guess I would be in a bad mood already at that point.

I just don’t carry a spare ?‍♂
Yep, we travel too much for that. I have had 2 flats in 15 years and both times, I mad it to my driveway before they were unsafe to drive but I don't want to ruin a trip over a flat tire.

True I just carry a patch kit usually tires this big are harder to puncture

I see you've got the Mopar tailgate reinforcement- do you also have the Mopar spare tire relocation kit? My '22 JLUXR does and the factory light when raised clears 37" KO2's with room to spare. Not sure if that relocation kit changes the ability to raise the OEM light more than the stock mount.

I have the TF relocation kit. I believe the NITTO RGs are quiet a bit taller than the KO2s. If I had an inch, I would probably be okay.

It does. I am running the stock reinforcement hinges and Teraflex bolted right up with no issues.
That might be my best option. Does the fore and aft adjust on the TF? I feel like the offset of my wheels makes my tire protrude too much.

Well, it turns out that I can read and it does have fore and aft adjustments. I think that is the solution.
