Good Morning
I added the Auxiliary Switches to my Wrangler 4Xe. The relay bracket provided doesn’t really fit in this application. I think combining the shapes of the one provided and a take off bracket that I had on hand would work perfectly. I’m not familiar with the printing software but I’d be willing to send the brackets for someone to see if it can be done.
thanks

Nice. I have the creality ender 3 pro or whatever, good printer. I made a badge for my glovebox handle on my gladiator lol. I’d have to find a photo but it’s fun to make random stuff.

How about the installation tool that SteerSmarts sells for $15 to press on new boots on their joints? Theirs is 3D printer and should be included at no extra cost when you purchase the boots.

Oh yeah that's silly. Would take me 5 minutes to whip that up in CAD and 30 minutes to print. Probably $1 worth if filament at the most.

Two things come to mind.

1.) A black plastic plug that covers the silver bolts on the passenger dashboard grab handle.

I suggested this to Threedom as well, but I don't know if they're going to make one or not.

2.) For those with a Sport and Sport S who want to remove the plastic air dam between the bumper and the fender, a filler piece to put back on the back of the bumper would be helpful. It will keep water and mud from being slung into the fog light wiring harness that lives there.

I've thought about trying to take an exact-o knife to it to cut out the upper portion while keeping the cover in place, but there's a good chance it will look bad by the time I'm done cutting.

EDIT: A third idea... a small hook/clip that attaches to your fuel door to hang the gas cap on while you're filling up. Sure you could stick a Command Strip thing there, but something that looked more purpose-built for the Jeep would be nice.

I want to design a rubber boot that attaches to the 4xe charge door that seals against the charge port any time the door is closed. After having a Tesla where the charge door is entirely automatic, having to click open the door, pull out the cap, plug it in, let it charge, pull out the charger, fumble with the cap to get it oriented just right, and click the door closed again is cumbersome (first world problems...). Just gonna have to sit down one day and come up with a design that works. Not sure why Jeep didn't just do it from the beginning.

Exactly. What’s silly is that this tool takes the place of another previous tool that was free when you bought the boots, except that tool was useless garbage. It didn’t work at all. So they designed one that actually works well, 3D print them for $1, and instead of providing it free with the boot like before charge $15 for it separately. Scandalous.

1) If you are interested in a place to mount devices on that side CMM has this to replace the bolts there.

2) I remember seeing someone on the forum selling covers for the back of the bumpers for removing those same pieces.

Not looking to mount anything there, just covering the silver bits.

As for the bumper covers, I know folks have tried using Rubi or Sahara covers but they don't fit the Sport S bumper. I haven't seen anyone selling them for the Sport S...

Wow crazy that the plastic bumpers would be that different.

I've added quite a few odds and ends to the interior with 3D printed parts. All parts are printed in PETG and one with a portion of TPU.

-A locking switch for an LED strip across the back window for cooking at the tailgate table.

-Due to top tint couldn't mount Toll Pass directly to glass so reversed the mount to connect with dash cam and microphone.

-For my peasant Sport model non-powered window hole I added a TPU tray with PETG clip to lock in place. TPU is flexible so I can squish my keys in there with ease and the added height lip stops them from falling out when you gas it.

-Divider walls for the center console.
Here's the STL files for anyone interested (requires some hardware): https://www.printables.com/model/218395-jeep-wrangler-jl-2018-center-console-organizer

Fire extinguisher brackets integrated with tailgate table.

I also have done the ever classic Tazer holder and deleted a random oversized offbrand logo from the floor mats with a simple 'Wrangler' badge that's way more low profile.

Also- first post :) Couldn't resist chiming in on Jeeps AND 3D printing.

You could do divider/shelves for the glove box too. Here is a pic of a Chinese offering in my JL's glove box that gives you an idea..

Took the idea and ran with it. Here's my rendition:

This was a first pass so wanted to make a couple adjustments, but happy with how it fits. Since it butts up to the dip at the back of the glove box it capitalizes on the space at the top that was awkward to fill.
