392 Splash Screen Graphics ('22 v '21)

I had a '21 392 and yesterday picked up my new '22 392.
The '22 has a "392" splash screen. My '21 I traded, had the standard "Rubicon" one.

Curious if this is an update, or perhaps they all do, but my Tazer's Splash Screen (Rubicon, Sahara or Sport are the options) was overriding it on my '21?

I freely admit ignorance (after searching the manual) what is a 392 “splash screen” and how do I find out if I have it? August 21 build. ??‍ Thanks ?

Believe he is talking about the start up screen on the instrument cluster.

I'm sure it will likely be a service update or similar if your BCM or wherever that is kept is updated to latest release levels. I'll have my first service this Fall, will see if anything changes.

Rats— don’t have it ? Edit- but I did get the correct tailgate plate ?, unless the ones with the wrong plate make them more collectible ?

After tazer install, as long as you select “Splash N/A” vs “Rubicon” or “Sahara”, you’ll retain the original, factory splash screen.

I noticed the exact same difference. My 21 did not have it my 22 does. Neither had the right tailgate badge...but my dealer sent me the right one.

Yes, from my experience the ‘22+ models get the 392 specific splash screen (I’ve owned a ’21, ‘22 and now own a ‘23 392–my ‘21 didn’t have it).

My original concern was retaining the 392 graphics while using the tazer as it has splash screen options that (can) override it, which I didn’t want to do.

Yes, in the Tazer options, just set splash to N/A. This we’ll keep factory settings intact.
