What I ended up going with. Great tire, ride nice, quiet, wearing even, and balanced well. Got them for the same reason, wanted something that would perform well in the snow and rain. So far they handled heavy rain better than my KO2s.I am considering the STT MAXX over the Pro's, knowing I will be making some trips through the mountains in winter. Not sure the STT PRO's would be safe and not kick out on me. The Maxx is more aggressive than the KO2, but less aggressive than a typical MT. I think it might be a good compromise. The stock 33 KO2's on the Rubi went everywhere in Moab. I also do some occasional trails here in AZ.
