Hey so I have a 2021 JLUR and I’m looking at getting 315/70/17 K02s for sure, but as far as the rim choice, I want to go with fuel covert rims with 4.5” BS and -12 offset, I’m just concerned with the amount of stuff the tires are gonna throw up with that setup.

can anyone shed some light from their experiences? As far as water? Rocks? Dirt? And also if it affected the paint at all on the Jeep?

worst thing is the door hinges. most people recommend getting the covers for those. My smittybilt rock rails have done a great job keeping most things from hitting the paint. my back fenders are dinged up pretty good form before i put on the sliders though.

Idk I'm still using the stock wheels and tires and I almost permanently have an arc of mud across the side of my jeep so I imagine a greater offset would just be more of the same. Mud flaps would be the only way to keep it clean.

I have the Performance rock sliders with Step assist by Mopar.

I added the Rokblokz removeable mud flaps. The extra wide ones. You can remove them when rock crawling in needed.

The Rokblokz come with the Pre-cutout for the Standard Rock Rails. You will have to trim to fit the Rock sliders with step assist.

They do not offer the pre-cutout for the Performance Rock sliders with Step assist.
I had to trim my cutout for my rails.

You mean like this ???

Jeep Wrangler JL 35s with some offset kicking up rocks? 1622837744130

Except those are on Fuel Podiums, but the offset and backspace are the same ...
Yep, they fling stuff, but in my case what comes off the front axle hits the sliders, and what's behind me is none of my business ;)

I don’t mind if it flings stuff, as long as I don’t ruin my paint job🙃

what offset do you have? I was thinking of flaps after my first ride with new set up. you look like 5-6 "s out side wheel well

4.5. The Rokblokz are the only extra wide flaps I found. I heard about them from another Jeeper.

They are removeable so if you are rock crawling you can just take off. Dirt trails etc. I leave on.

They for sure stop rocks from hitting side of Jeep.

You will have to look at website for the Sahara rails you have. The Rubicon rock rails come with pre-cut but I have the Performance Rock Sliders with step assist by Mopar and they don't have the pre-cut for these so I had to trim some to fit mine. Just the front flaps.
