3 Weeks after order and still at code C

I ordered my JL Rubicon 2 door on 10/20. 3 weeks later and it still in code C according to Jeep Garage. I chatted with Jeep Customer Care and they confirmed. Said it usually goes from C to D1 in 30 days. I should expect delivery in 10-12 weeks after ordering. When I ordered the Jeep, my dealer said it would be 6-8 weeks. Not sure if that means there is something going on with production, or my dealer was just ill informed. Sounds like a 2019 delivery. Its interesting that on Jeep Garage, most orders before mine went to D1 in about 3-9 days. Most orders after mine are still in C.

My 2018 2dr took 6 months.

Hopefully you’re not going to be stuck waiting behind 4 doors like we were last year...

Two things. The apparent cut off as of the week ending 10/19 seems pretty evident from jeepgarage. I wonder why the hard stop in moving vehicles forward, whether regular or unlimited.

Second, I was checking build status 4 or 5 times a day. I kept waiting for that Christmas morning feeling of seeing a new toy. Now I believe it will be here way after Christmas so I only check once a day.

Although considering that most upgrades for the 2 door wont be available till spring or later, maybe the wait is not so bad.
