  1. An open letter to Jeep/FCA

While their may be teething problems, none of that impacts their ability to communicate. It is not like they are a start up where they are still trying to be a grown up enterprise. This is a mature organization that failed at every step to even attempt to communicate, even though I reached out...
  2. An open letter to Jeep/FCA

The issue was never about the wait. The issue was simply the relentlessly poor customer service. And I did reach out to the regional manager who could not help either. Plus manufacturing of wranglers ceases shortly and does not resume until early Jan.
  3. An open letter to Jeep/FCA

An open letter to Jeep/FCA, I am a huge Jeep fan. I bought my most recent Jeep, a 2007 JK Unlimited Rubicon around Thanksgiving in 2006. It has been the most fun vehicle my family and I have ever owned. We have owned sports cars, other off-road vehicles, motorcycles and even a Land Rover...
  4. Just Ordered My 2D ‘19 Jeep Rubicon

I ordered a very similar Rubicon (although no leather or 8.4 stereo) on 10/20 and I have yet to receive a VIN. Tomorrow marks the 45th day and I will escalate my lack of timeliness. Congrats on your new ride AND your good fortune.
  5. Cannot order a 3.6L with an Auto????

I 'chatted' with jeep to bring this to their attention. It probably is just an error.
  6. Cannot order a 3.6L with an Auto????

Mcolv2, the image I posted is the issue I am referring to. It happened on the 2dr 2019 rubicon. Is not fixed.
  7. Cannot order a 3.6L with an Auto????

I went to the Jeep website to rebuild the 2019 Jeep JL Rubicon I ordered. The 2019 Build and Price is now available on the site. While I ordered the Automatic with the 3.6L engine back on 10/20, the site would ONLY let me order the automatic with the 2.0L. Has anyone else...
  8. How many of you Manual JLs out there like your 6speed?

I have a 2007 JKU Rubicon with the 6 speed. Considering it came with the 3.8L minivan engine, the 6 speed was almost a requirement. But it is more difficult rock climbing with a manual. For my new 2019 JL Rubicon on order, I went with teh 8 spd auto. i love the manual, but I am hoping the...
  9. Post your 2019 JL build status

I ordered my JL 2 Dr Rubicon 35 days ago and still in 'C'. Chatted with Jeep and their recommendation was reach back out to them when it hits 45 days to 'escalate'. Anyone else, or are most of the orders from after October 20 in the same boat? Thanks and happy Thanksgiving.
  10. 2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread

  11. 3 Weeks after order and still at code C

Two things. The apparent cut off as of the week ending 10/19 seems pretty evident from jeepgarage. I wonder why the hard stop in moving vehicles forward, whether regular or unlimited. Second, I was checking build status 4 or 5 times a day. I kept waiting for that Christmas morning feeling...
  12. 3 Weeks after order and still at code C

I ordered my JL Rubicon 2 door on 10/20. 3 weeks later and it still in code C according to Jeep Garage. I chatted with Jeep Customer Care and they confirmed. Said it usually goes from C to D1 in 30 days. I should expect delivery in 10-12 weeks after ordering. When I ordered the Jeep, my...
  13. C'mon Bestop give the JL some Love (#1 on my list)

I spoke and emailed with Bestop last week asking about their fabric doors. On the call, they said the fabric doors would be available in the spring and in th email, they said the summer. Just an FYI.
