2nd time overfill

Never really paid attention to how much fuel I put in anymore. Below 1/4 we aim to fill, maybe less. Fill it until the pump shuts off. Never had a pump NOT self shut off. Let it settle 30 seconds and then slow tap it again once or twice. Never had it overfill and spew. But I have always had gassers.

Maybe he is talking about DEF. That's only a 5 gallon tank and then you would have 10 gallons on the ground. ?

No, he said he pumped over 15 gal... he's just confused.
