Other than the PRP mounting solution, has anyone seen a single seat for the rear of a 2dr JL? The idea is that I could get one passenger in the rear, with seatbelt, and it would mount to the stock fold/tumble mount. This would leave more storage space. The PRP is a full bracket so not ideal for what I'm hoping to do, but maybe its not possible without a lot of modification.

Have not seen what you're looking for, but I sure wish Jeep offered a split rear. I would think you could cut down a bench to 1/2 size and have an upholstery guy finish it.

There would be a big problem with the mounting points, as the engagement hooks are nearly as wide as the seat. You could get something like a Goose Gear platform, then mount a singe seat to it. Or you could buy a take out seat that limo and van outfitters remove from vehicles, you'd just have to find one that would work in the back of the JL.

Just some ideas
