2dr JL Wheel Well Storage

I'm looking for a storage solution which will fit on the rear wheel well, and maybe double up as an arm rest.

I looked at saddle bags, but they seem to mount in the window space.

I found a Fishbone product which has the storage, but could be improved if it was lockable. https://www.fishboneoffroad.com/products/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2174

A cushion topper may convert it into an armrest. So far this is the only product I've found to fit in the area.

Please post if you know of other products I should look at, or even ideas on how to make my own.

If you put something permanent there, you will block the hardtop bolts. That's probably why you aren't finding anything

I do like the look of those, but would be concerned that they would be easy to steal when I park with the soft top down and no windows.

Bumping this thread to see if there is anything new.

I am looking for some storage ideas for the wheel-well areas for a 2-door also. Ideally something that does not interfere with the rear seat bench folding up or down.

I saw some soft bag type wheel-well like these by Besttop.
