Who makes a quality angled slider with a top plate?
I had thought I finally found what I wanted but of course they are no longer in business, I believe they were Shrockworks

I started looking at frame mount but have seen some issues with those, plus they tend to take away some clearance. Looking at Hard Rock 4x4 patriot angled sliders … just wish they offered a top plate on those.

Ya looking at those. Saw a video where someone from Metal Cloak mentioned taking step off if your going to wheel them? How far does mounting base stick out from body?

The Rock Hard 4x4 Angle-up sliders are awesome! I installed them on my '20 JLR and they were the first mod I did on my new JLR-X.

Thanks your picture helps a lot. Always hard when you can’t see in person.

I run the MetalCloak Overland Flip steps as well. 3 products in one. Up position (shown here) , down position for a lower step and “off” position for more extreme trails.

Check out GOAT Fabrication. They are a forum sponsor. Their 2 door running boards/sliders can be level or slanted and can be mounted over the existing OEM rock slider.

I have mine in the angled down position, I like the look of them better and it gives a narrow step. In the up position they provide a nice flat step as Westymike showed. Or you can just take them off and have a Rubicon style slider.

I have the ACE Rock Sliders on my 2018 Rubicon. They don't have the flat step on them but I added some non-skid strips to the tops to help with traction getting in/out.

Note: In this photo, I had screening put on the bottom of the slide to try to stop debris from coming off the front times. This didn't work so well when I started off-roading the Jeep and have since removed them.

I have been on many trails and have bashed the rock rails many times and never an issue with the Jeep.

I will also not that I had a hell of a time getting them installed since they use the body bolts to mount them. I even broke off a bolt in the process of trying to remove them. Dealership fixed me up on that issue but wouldn't try installing the sliders in fear of breaking more bolts.

I took a heat gun to the bolt to heat things up and loosen the thread locker that is on the body bolts. After several heat/twist cycles, I was finally able to get the bolts out and install the sliders.

These are ones I have been strongly considering. Do you happen to have more pics... like looking at them from eye level from 10' back or so. They are frame mounted and seem pretty strong. Just lose about 2" around pinch seem vs Rock Hard. I wish I could see them in person. They use 11/2" round bar...and I am curious how beefy or not that looks (I have heard they are very capable tho)
