Hmmmm......I don't belive so but I wouldn't know for sure. What's an easy way to tell? The vehicle is at home today so I'll need to check after work.
The Etorque won’t have the R42 fuse. My ‘21 Etorque doesn’t because it doesn’t have the aux battery. Just the main battery and the Etorque battery on the back frame.

Hey all-
Have you heard of Jeeps manufactured during the covid years not getting an aux battery installed?
I'm being told that my '21 Rubicon JL dies not have an Aux battery. Took it to a custom aftermarket Jeep shop to have the Aux battery replaced and when they went to replace there was no battery. They say the the tray is there but there is no other evidence of a battery ever being in the vehicle. No cables, no anything. They seemed a bit shocked but did say they've heard of it as the batteries were very difficult to come by during covid years.
My original post above stated that the dealer replaced my main battery and they said they checked the aux and it was good. Now I know the dealer is lying to me. How can they check it when it's not there? Anyway....the shop it's at now is going to do some digging to see if the dealer even put the proper main battery in during replacement and try to figure out why no aux battery is in.
Anybody ever seen this?

Did you ever check if yours is etorque?
After I got the call from the shop I looked into de-coding the vin# on Mopars site. It appears I do have the etorque which now makes things clear as mud. It explains the lack of an aux battery but doesn't give me a clue as to why all of the problems are occurring. I have zero trust or interest to bring back to the dealership especially when they told me they tested both the Aux battery and the alternator.....which my JL has neither. I'm curious as to how my dealer didn't know.
I guess I'll now be looking for a good auto electric shop. Does anyone out there live in or around Spartanburg, SC that can recommend a person or shop?
