So on the display gauge, when driving and gas pedal pressed, the 12.x volts is the actual battery charge? And the 13,x or 14.x number during deceleration is the alternator charging?It’s normal. The alternator charges when necessary. It takes advantage of certain situations such as deceleration. It’s counter-intuitive to us old fashioned gear heads but it is the new reality.
