2025 Willys XR Axle Question

Does the 4 door Willys XR come with the full float rear axle like the Rubi? I’ve seen a window sticker from a 2 door Willys XR and it says it is included. Just wanted to see if the 4 door has it as well.

Never seen that before on a non Rubicon with any door count. Hopefully someone will chime in. Maybe Bergey’s ordered it that way. Even if so I didn’t know it was an option on a Willys.

XR package gets the same axle setup as a Rubicon XR. HD front 44 with the full float rear. Doesn't matter how many doors.

Hmmm are you sure about that? I dont think my 2025 willys XR has the full float rear. For some bizarre reason the 2D does get the full float.

Wow, that’s weird. I saw many 2 door window stickers and they all say they have it. Oh well. I love the 2 door but it’s really not practical for me right now.

The 2024's, or at least mine, does not have the "free float".
I thought that only the Rubes got that.

Since the Willys has now essentially become a Rubi Light, I thought they gave the Rubicon some extras to keep it the flagship rig.

No 4.88's on the Willys XR, no free float, at least on the 2024s.

That sticker sure looks like the 2025s may have the upgraded part.

This is making me seriously consider the 2 dr Willys XR I found local for 42k asking.

Thats a great deal! The lowest 4 door I found is 50k instead of 60k. And that’s the one I’m gonna get.

I think you are correct.
I saw the link to the older thread on this subject and it appears the 2 Doors get the upgrade.

Houston has some very aggressive pricing on Jeeps. That same dealership has a couple of 2 dr XRs, the white one has only a few options, 2.0, auto, XR, and hardtop. So it starts pretty cheap.

Thanks, but I’m trying to stay within a drivable distance from nj. Also I’m looking for specifically Joose. The closest and cheapest I found was 50k in Va.
