Two of dad’s friends, brothers, had Jeepsters. One they put wagon 4WD under it and a Chevy V8. This is off the net but I would bet money it’s it, exact spitting image in every way.My grandmother began driving Jeepsters in the mid-1940s. She was such a cool and spunky lady! She had a black one that she loved. So, all of mine have been black since I'm not into the flashy colors - lol.
My grandmother was one-of-a-kind! Even well into her 70s she would tie a little scarf around her hair and would say to me "Let's go ride the wind!" We weren't allowed to go doorless as often as she would have liked towards the end because of her age. I miss her so much. So, I guess Jeep is in my DNA. I've never driven anything but a Jeep since I was 16.![]()
