2025 Base Soft top wet inside

I have a 2025 base sport with a soft top. I started noticing the inside of the softie is wet. Is this normal after heavy rainfall?

No. There's either a leak due to insufficient sealing, or a defect in the top's construction.

I've driven through a few frog chokers in my almost 5 years of ownership, and not once have I observed any such leaking or staining on my top's Sailcloth fabric.

You might consider examining the perimeter of the top closely, with it lowered and raised, to determine if you can ID the source of the leaking. Maybe something isn't seated properly, etc.

Take as many detailed photos as you prefer here, and present them to the dealer if or when you proceed with a warranty claim.

Okay thank you! Everything is seated right. This is my 3rd wrangler, had one gladiator, neither had this issue but I had the premium soft top. I’ll call the dealer tomorrow morning and get an appointment. There’s a ton of condensation on the inside windows now which never happened before. Currently at 4,400 miles

I hope you get it straightened out. That would have been my luck with a soft top. I never had any luck with T-tops, factory sunroof, after market moon roof. They all leaked. I test drove a used JK the freedom panels leaked like a sieve. When I bought my 23 JL I asked for a solid, one piece, hardtop, denied of course.

I'm a leak magnet.

I had both on my jeeps. The T tops leaked more than the soft tops. My passenger door seal was leaking recently but honda shin-Etsu grease solved that problem on the 25 wrangler

You need a partner for this but maybe sit inside the Jeep with a flashlight and have someone spray in the area where the top meets the frame for the windshield. It’s hard to tell but from the picture it’s possible water coming in thru the gap and/or not draining and what you are seeing is some sort of wicking effect. Then again it could be juat soaking thru the layers which is odd for a basically new top. Either way I’m afraid it needs to go in for warranty

baby my appointment the 17th. I washed the jeep yesterday with no issues, assuming it was due to 2 days of downpouring. will hopefully have the dealer address, they've been great over the years with warranty work. always have the jeep back next day when they do work
